As a seasoned elder law and estate planning attorney, Attorney DeDiana will expand the firm’s growing range of services. In light of this new partnership, the firm is updating its name to Bumbaugh | George | Prather | DeDiana.
Attorney DeDiana has over 40 years of experience in the legal field. He’s a Certified Elder Law Attorney by the National Elder Law Foundation and a Certified Public Accountant. Before joining Bumbaugh | George | Prather | DeDiana, he ran his own private practice, L. Christian DeDiana Attorney at Law, for over ten years and practiced with several law firms.
Throughout his legal career, Attorney DeDiana has built a wealth of experience in estate planning, estate administration, inheritance tax planning, Medicaid planning, and nursing home asset protection. He’s helped countless families protect their assets and secure their legacies using powers of attorney, trusts, wills, and living wills.

Along with his extensive legal experience, Attorney DeDiana’s impressive speaking history also caught the firm’s attention. He’s lectured for the Pennsylvania Bar Institute, the Westmoreland Bar Association, and the Pennsylvania Institute of Certified Public Accountants’ Southwestern Chapter.

Attorney DeDiana earned his bachelor’s degree in Accountancy from the University of Notre Dame and his J.D. from Cornell Law School. He’s an active member of the National Academy of Elder Law Attorneys, the Pennsylvania Association of Elder Law Attorneys, the Pennsylvania Bar Association, and the Westmoreland Bar Association. He’s also a Fellow of the American College of Trust and Estate Counsel and Chairman of the Westmoreland Bar Association’s Orphans’ Court / Elder Law Committee.
